May 2007: New links section for treating eye floaters

With the aid of a helpful reader (the same reader, in fact, who wrote the excellent Living with Floaters article) we've created a section highlighting by location the available surgeons or doctors who can treat eye floaters. We hope to increase the size of this section over time to be much more comprehensive so please do send any extra links you have bookmarked ;) You can see this new section by going here.

April 2007: Ads, ads and more ads!

Some of you may notice ads from Google Adsense dotted around some of our pages. These, unfortunately, are necessary to fund the website maintenance and server costs temporarily. The image ALT tags (text that appears the cursor is moved over an image) now include a better description of the image that you're looking at.

January 2007: Updates to the site

A helpful reader has created a Living With Floaters section. In addition to that, I've made some several tweaks throughout the site, mostly cosmetic :)

December 2006: New look for Eye-Floaters.com!

Eye-Floaters.com has been given a face lift! We've changed the layout of the site to be much easier to read and accessible to more users. Any feedback you can give us on our new design is much appreciated. Over the coming weeks and months the content will be updated and sections will be added so watch this space!

September 2006: Happy Birthday Eye-Floaters.com!

Eye-Floaters.com has now been accessible to all on the world wide wonderland for two years! Thank you to all our users who have made this site what it is today and for all your hard work and feedback (you know who you are!).

August 2006: New Design of Eye-Floaters.com!

We're in the process of creating a new look for Eye-Floaters.com with a view to ensuring the site is easier to read and more accessible to our users. This is the perfect time to send any requests for any additional changes you'd like to see. We're also in need of new images so feel free to send submissions via the Forum!

July 2005: Treatment of Floaters Section Now Live!

Finally, we've gotten round to launching the treating floaters section which details treatment options for floaters in the eye using such methods as Floater Only Vitrectomy, Sutureless Vitrectomy & laser surgery. Also, you may have noticed some changes to the layout of the site and we have updated the eye floaters content to reflect the changing times.

May 2005: Updates in Progress!

We're currently in the process of updating the content on the site with treatment options, new links, review of content et cetera. If you notice anything on the site that requires a change or simply needs to be corrected, or would even like new content, please do contact us and let us know.

December 2004: Surveys and Polls

We launch polls every so often to determine if a particular treatment was successful or, for example, if an article was helpful. Please do partake in them :) If you'd like to see a particular poll created then please do contact us.

September 2004: Launch of Eye-Floaters.com!

This website, eye-floaters.com, was officially launched as of the 16th September 2004. This site aims to highlight (and hopefully help to alleviate) the complete lack of sufficient research in the area of researching and treating floaters. The site was formed as a result of the Yahoo! mailing list available for anyone who is suffering from or wants to know about floaters. This is a group effort and if you want to be part of this group, simply register and introduce yourself in our Forum.
